Three Chies Wrapping Gifts

Here are the three Chies packing gifts for the kids in Manukan, mainly for my godchildren. Nope, these gifts are not for this Christmas though if you may ask but these were wrapped and given to the kids as Christmas gifts on 2009. It was my husband's last Christmas with me and with my family. His last Christmas here in the Philippines.

Photos were taken by our only brother.

These photos brought back memories of how we, sisters with our brother's cooperation of course, bonded together in wrapping Christmas gifts with having a unity of thought - to make the kids in our neighborhood happy on Christmas day with our simple gifts. We've done it for 2 consecutive years, during those years of prosperity with the presence of my husband. I was such a lucky wife to have a generous and kid-loving husband. Now I miss him. I wonder if I could do gift-giving again this Christmas. I hope so.

I would like to share this to Nostalgia

Pink Butterflies on Cake

I went to the christening party of a friend's niece last Saturday. It was a last minute invitation, well an unexpected one to the reception. It was in time for dinner. I went there with few of my classmates. The party's themes were pink and white, an expected theme for a baby girl. The decoration and all were cute including the pink and white balloons that were hanged everywhere in the reception hall to my amazement. But what really amazed me that night were the pink butterfly icing decorations on the three-layered pale pink cake.

Just wow! Being a butterfly lover, I never let myself to miss that chance of capturing the pink butterflies on the cake. It was just the pink butterflies that were on my mind at that time that why I only have these two photos and not even captured a single shot of the whole cake. Along with the pink butterflies, other decorations on the cake were pink ribbons and pink and white daisies.

Develop Your Muscle

Some women’s perception when they see a man with huge muscles would be having such kind of man in their life would secure their safety. To some, it would be the man is simply a weightlifter and/or an enhanced man. My perception would be the first. I find it cool when men have those bulky muscles to boast as if implying a high level of safety. I, myself, even want to develop some muscle. It’s just cool! If you want to be cool, go look for ways of Muscle Development.

Cheem Brings Sore Eyes in My Apartment

It was Cheem who passed the viral infection to me. She was the one who had sore eyes last week. It was healed totally but then the other day, the viral infection attacked her eyes again. Now both of us are suffering from sore eyes in my apartment and we are both afraid we'll pass it to our father and to our youngest sister Cheep.

I don't believe in what other people say that once you've already suffered sore eyes you'll never get the virus again. I have had sore eyes a few times before and now I've suffered from it again. The virus that causes sore eyes is easily spread. And based on my experience, you'll likely get the virus twice or thrice a year if you are in contact with the one who is infected. The first and best way to avoid getting the virus would be washing hands before touching your eyes when surrounded by people who are infected. Once infected, apply Red Eye formula drops like Eye Mo immediately or better yet consult a doctor for an effective medication. (TKE53Y66F9DY)

The Close Friend, Another Pink Lover

The owners of these pink bags are close friends - Cheep (my sister) and Kristine. They share almost the same interests and one is the love for pink. Aside from that, both of them threw up during their sea trip to Cebu. Hmnn?

Above is a picture of Cheep with her classmates ready for the tour. That's Kristine right there in the center wearing a pink T-shirt. Cheep? Well, she might have worn a black tee but still, shades of pink are present. She was even carrying that little pink purse and wearing a pink shade on her lips. Pink lover eh? No wonder she and Kristine are the closest among their circle of friends.

Pink Bag and Traveling Bag

I took this picture on the day Cheep left for their Cebu-Bohol Educational tour. Look at her pink traveling bag. She was so happy when I got her that pink traveling bag. Even when going for a tour, pink was a big deal. She really requested for a pink traveling bag and along with it is the pink bag which I handed down to her a couple of months ago.

Easy HCG Oral Diet Drops

Are you still carrying the hard work of losing weight? How many times have you skipped meals in a month? How much money have you spent on hiring a personal coach in a gym? Probably you’ve spent a lot already on the gym or have starved yourself to death yet you're still the fatty that you are. Why don’t you try HCG oral diet drops?

These dietary products are professional grade HCG drops having high quality ingredients that are produced in the United States and are supervised by strict FDA. Trusted by doctors and clinics worldwide, these products guarantee people to lose weight and lead a healthier lifestyle. If you are to compare hcg drops vs injections, the former offers more benefits and advantages. Injections can be painful while HCG drops are simply taken under the tongue. The drops absorb rapidly into the blood stream turning fats into energy rather than fats stored as food.

Cheep's First Steps in Cebu

Cheep and the rest of DMC students who joined the tour arrived in Cebu City Port at 6:30 in the morning. Although stressed out from the roller coaster-like sea trip of about ten hours, she said her excitement to explore Cebu brightened her mood and lightened her spirit.

From the port, the group headed to Fortuna Hotel for a breakfast buffet.

Then they visited a church nearby and lighted candles for thanksgiving. One thing I learned from travelling with a friend is to visit a church upon arriving at a place you're visiting to thank God for a safe trip. I shared it with my sister before she left for the tour. She really made sure to have photos of her taken as proof to me that she visited a church. Nice!

What Really Causes Dark Circles Under the Eyes?

Working overtime, partying out or simply sleeping late at night are just some of what we believed could cause dark circles under the eyes. That’s why sleeping late often worries us but do you know that these believed causes are not really directly related to dark circles. I read in an article, which research dermatologists agreed to, partying out at night, working overtime and sleeping late have nothing to do with those dark circles that are visible under your eyes. It is explained that “a complex interaction between your body and the same kind of chemical reaction that produces bruises is what really causes dark circles" and that tanning could make it worse. The simplest way to hide those dark circles is applying eye creams. Might as well choose the best eye cream for dark circles for best result. There are list of best eye creams you can refer to. Also, read reviews before deciding to buy.

Cheep On Her First Sea Trip to Cebu

Cheep's educational tour to Cebu and Bohol was her very first sea trip experience. She said she enjoyed the first three hours of the trip but later on she started feeling sea sickness. The vessel they were boarding (GP) left from Dapitan Port at seven in the evening on Wednesday last week.
Cheep on her deck. Seems like she's enjoying the ride here and didn't feel the dizzying sway of the ship yet.

Enjoying the breeze at night with one of her closest friends, Glifel.

A pose with some of the classmates.

She's not feeling good here now. Looks like she's looking for something.

She found it! It is an Efficacent oil which they used to rub on stomach.

According to Cheep, the sea trip was hilarious. The waves were big that it felt like a roller coaster ride. Among all their classmates though, there were only two of them who threw up. One of her classmates, Kristine already head to the toilet around 11:00 p.m. to throw up when she felt the urge to follow. She said she tried to hold it but she couldn't bear anymore for her throat taste so nastily salty.

Couldn't hold anymore, she went down from her deck and rushed to the toilet and...ugh!
I still feel sorry for her. She must have been having a hard feeling right there in the vessel's toilet. I know how it feels and it's not something anyone wants to feel - the dizziness and that nasty feeling in the stomach.

Finally she thrown all that in her stomach out.

After the toilet dilemma, everything went back to normal. There she stroke a pose as if nothing happened. Still she hoped that long sea trip would be over.

Kristine, Glefil and Rechiel Cheep - Cebu, there they came!

Finally, Cebu port was at the reach of their pair of tired and sleepless eyes. Looked like they didn't get any sleep during the entire sea trip at all but I knew they were all excited upon seeing the sparkling view of the port. I could feel their excitement to board off the ship to step on the land of Cebu.

Try TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TRESemmé for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The hair or some would call it the crowning glory enhances the beauty and the overall appearance of a person. That is why one of the main concerns of women physically is the hair. Some would spend thousands on hair treatments and hairstyles just to keep it pleasant looking. No wonder many would go to salons at least twice a month while some do a longer than usual ritual on hair treatments at home daily like I do. Having a flaky and frizzy hair could ruin our day, well at least my day. I don’t like literally having bad hair days and I bet you've just seconded.

Shampoo plays an important role in our daily wash room ritual. But do you know that too much washing hair steals its natural oils? Most women should know this but could you sacrifice a day without shampooing your hair?  What if you are having a period and you have no choice but to skip a bath for a day or two? What a dilemma! Don’t fret now; TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo is here to keep your hair clean, rejuvenated and fragrant leaving you feeling fresh all day. With this line of dry shampoo, you can start and enjoy your day fresh even when you skip a bath.  Dry shampoo as it is, there is no need even a drop of water for it to apply on hair.  Here are tips on how to apply a dry shampoo on your hair for best results:
  1. Do shake the dry shampoo bottle vigorously before use and in between spray bursts for best results.
  2. Do lift sections of your dry hair and spray lightly at roots.
  3. Do spray in short bursts, holding 8 to 12 inches from head.
  4. Don't spray it like hair spray like spraying all over and continuously.
  5. When done, leave it for 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Use your hands or a brush to distribute product evenly.
  7.  If clogging occurs, remove nozzle and rinse it under warm water then reattach.
You can as well refer to this below. This Top Hair Products for School video is uploaded by a Youtube celebrity Elle Fowler where she featured TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo.
