Save on Medical Scrubs

As everyone grow more concern on health and wellness, a medical job nowadays is considered as one of the most in demand jobs anywhere in the world. Aside from that, this job is as well one of the most highly compensated works especially when you work overseas. No wonder, more and more students here in the Philippines want to be enrolled to medical courses. One example to that is my younger sister who kept asking me lately to enroll her to at least a two-year medical course. These students want to venture in the foreign lands after they graduate with a hope to receive high compensation from their profession.
Although some Filipino medical workers are already working in any foreign lands with mighty dollar salaries, it doesn’t mean they do not save. As far as I know, we Filipinos are smart buyers and thrift hunting from clothing to goods is a norm. Even some people who are living high life do thrift hunt. So it is not new if most Filipino medical workers you run into know where to buy cheap scrubs online. Well, medical or nursing scrubs don’t have to be expensive. Gladly, there is an online store that sells nursing scrubs at cheap prices. Isn’t it perfect for your budget? If you want one, visit this link http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/ for a selection of medical scrubs for women.

Pink Night with Cheep

Last night, I was invited by Claire, a new friend I just met recently to a night-out party. It was kind of a despidida party for I heard her foreigner boyfriend is leaving for States soon. Since my youngest sis was at my place when I received the invite, I decided to drag her with me so she won't be bored alone.

So there we went out to party with my friends last night.

Cheep made this photo collage and tagged it to me on Facebook.
I know what she wants - the pink bag.
Lol, trying to fool the big ate with a collage?

We went to party in pink. Cheep was wearing her favorite pink Crissa lace shirt while I put on a sleeveless, halter blazer with pink stripe over black tube and grabbed the pink bag I won from a giveaway. I am sure some of you PF players are familiar with this pink bag. I was glad my little sister enjoyed the night-out with my friends. Now she knows how I party in the city away from the gossiping eyes of the people in Manukan (home place). Lol!

Are You A Religious Collector of RC Cars?

Remote controlled cars are toys not only for the kids and the big boys but also for the girls and even the big girls. I know someone in her late 30’s who religiously collects remote controlled cars. For privacy reasons, she requested not to disclose her name. She already has collected quite a lot and she doesn’t care if she wastes money on it for everytime her order arrived, it makes her smile. Some of her remote controlled cars are imported here from the US. These toys are expensive, so collecting these toys is a no joke. There are really people who are so keen on a thing that they don’t mind spending dimes for it.

Some of the cars I saw in her collection are remote control nitro cars. It is the type of a remote controlled car that are gas-powered using a mixture of methane fuel and nitrogen, making them faster to run 100 miles per hour. This type of remote controlled car actually is the most popular RC cars as of the present because of the addition to its speed brought by the methane fuel mixture. It is gas-powered just like the real thing. Just the fact that these cars are a lot faster than the previous ones brings excitement to these cars’ collectors. That’s how addicted they can get into these toys.

Music Monday: Imma Be by Black Eyed Peas

I've had two night outs this month to two new disco bars here in the city. Yay, I am so outdated with the new disco beats. It just proved I've been jailing myself at home. While at the bars, this particular music by Black Eyed Peas titled Imma Be seemed pasted in my ears.

I am not really into Fergie's beauty but I like Black Eyed Peas as a group and their songs. Fergie has songs with beat could shake your booty off. This song, Imma be is one of the most played songs of Black Eyed Peas in disco clubs nowadays. For sure some of you have heard this beat and have shaken with it. Come and listen.

Cheem Turns 21

Cheem or Chemay to the family turns 21 years old last May 15. Yay, it's another year older for you little sis. Although it was a last minute preparation since we didn't expect she was coming home, she was still able to blow a candle on her cake.
Of course, we picked a cake with icings of Cheem's favorite color - baby blue. We only ordered it pre-made from a bakeshop in the city and luckily there was one with blue and green icing. We then added a b-day greeting using red syrup on it.  It worked!
Her birthday celebration wouldn't be completed without the presence of her boyfriend. They happened to have the same birthday so it was a double celebration. They actually arrived together.
I only cooked my specialty for them which is pork adobo. I also prepared vege shanghai rolls and bought a roasted chicken and ice cream while Cheep made a last minute mango float. Those were the only preparations that day which we already feasted before the cakes arrived. The day after, they went home and brought our parents some desserts.

GT: Summer Outfit I Am Comfortable Wearing

It's another week of Girls Talk and again it is still summery talk in the meme. I decided to post my share back in this blog today because the topic is about summer outfit. So here goes my shares:

When in the beach, I simply wear shorts and a sleeveless top. Never will I wear a bikini for I am not confident enough to show some flesh, even before when I still had the curve. This outfit I wore in the photo below is for me, the most comfortable outfit to wear even during regular days away from the beach.

This outfit below was hubby's idea. I couldn't say no for he was the one who picked the outfit. I do not know if I can wear summer outfit like this again. I would rather stick to wearing outfits like the one I was wearing in the picture above. That way, my bulging belly and my blackish crouch are safe.

So these are my two summer outfits. I am including that in the last photo for that outfit is kind of special, it's hubby's pick.

Fendi, One Of The Leading Fashion Labels

Fendi is one of the famous brands of luxury handbags, shoes and accessories that often used by celebrities and well-to-do people. With simultaneity to the famous brands that we hear and see on TV, fendi offers luxury handbags, shoes and accessories for both men and women. Fendi started as a fur and handbag company founded in 1918 by Adele Casagrande. It got its famous name in 1925 when the founder married to Edoardo Fendi. It was then expanded with the help of the couple’s five daughters. Nowadays, fendi is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading fashion labels with its signature double F logo.

Fendi is without a doubt, one of the most must-have brands. It continuously hooks people’s interest with its luxury products. I am not an exception although I could not afford one. I am eying mostly on fendi handbags and totes hoping one of these days a super man will buy me one. I like the Mahogany and Yellow Zucchini Mamma studded shoulder bag. It would be a great addition to my few collections of branded handbags or would be a great post Mothers’ Day gift. How I wish I could afford one for my dear mother. To those who can, why not check it out? You might find one for your moms or for yourselves.

Pink Embroidered Flowers

No, it is not my sister this time. I run out of pictures of her with pink so today, I featured my evening silk robe with  pink flower embroidery.
Can't see it clearly? Here is a close up shot of the embroidered pink flowers on the robe.
I don't know if it was hand-embroidered. My wedding planner got this silk robe for me on my wedding day. So this robe is the most memorable among my robes for I was wrapped in this robe before I finally put on my wedding dress.  I like that big pink flower!

Featured Wardrobe: Cheep in Her Sundress

I saw this self-shot of Cheep wearing her sun dress. She uploaded this picture the other day before leaving for Manukan, to our parents'. I like this sun dress. I like the cut and the knitted neckline with a string closure. It emphasizes the view of that area. Lol! I've been implying to her to hand the dress down to me but she always play deaf everytime I imply. I know she doesn't want to give this dress away. When Cheem get to see dress, I am sure Cheep will be in trouble for th dress has Cheem's favorite color, the baby blue.

Princess Catherine’s Wedding Gown

Before the royal wedding in London, many, fashion critics or not, have waited to peek the wedding gown of the Prince’s bride Kate Middleton that is now Princess Catherine Duchess of Cambridge.  I’ve waited to see it just as I’ve waited to see Reese Witherspoon’s as TV news kept urging me to check it out. Kate succeeded in keeping the gown and the designer a secret, even to her Prince.

Yesterday, I’d finally laid my eyes on Kate Middleton’s Alexander McQueen’s wedding gown on Yahoo. It is simple yes but with a royal elegance. The dress is a picture of tradition and modernity combined. Some might have said they didn’t see something special on the gown but if you look closely there is something special on it, the simplicity.

If you’ve noticed, the shape of the top covering the chest down the corsetry waist, the ivory satin bodice, is heart-shaped. The sweeping train held by the bride’s sister measures only over six feet long. The gown has long sleeve lace and has a deep V cut on the neckline. I like her idea of bringing back the long sleeves on wedding gowns. It’s been a long while since we’ve seen one and now, I have a feeling the Princess is bringing back that trend.

The Cartier halo tiara she was wearing was lent to her by the Queen, which also used by Princess Diana on her wedding with Prince Charles on 1981. It held the elbow length ivory silk tulle veil in place that has hand-embroidered flowers. Overall, she is breath-taking.
