Cheem Wants To Be A Nurse

Other reason why my younger sister wants to be a nurse, aside from helping the sick, is to feel the soft cotton scrubs on. She’s more on fantasizing on sporting it around that’s why she is still on the stand-by lane and still out of school. Recently, she was being passionate about going-back-to-school talk. She said she would like to get a course she wants and promised she’ll do good this time. My mother and I thought of giving her another chance hoping she will not screw the chance again. We have to trust her this time, that way we’ll build up her confidence and make her inspired of finishing the course.
It would be nice to have a sister who can take care of us when we are sick right? Besides, my sister will really look great in white nursing medical scrub top or a ua uniform. I searched online for nursing uniforms and I found a lot that would fit my sister. I can imagine her wearing some of those someday. There are lots of medical uniforms I found in a site that you can buy directly online like medical lab coats. There are also medical scrubs for men and women of different sizes. The site as well offers wholesale nursing uniforms.

Featured Wadrobe: The Tubes and The lil' Models

I am up to share some wardrobes at my personal meme again, the Featured Wardrobe. I will be sharing some tubes for you and this time, the models are two of the most especial people in my life, my lovely little sisters.   I really took advantage of the time when Cheem was here.  I really made use of it by letting her and Cheep strike lovely poses together for Featured Wardrobe. So my little sisters modeled their own tubies for my camera and here goes their model-like poses:

Here are my lovely sisters in black and red tube.
Cheem's in black, Cheep's in red

This time, Chizka was starting to get in the picture.
She wanted to a strike a model-like pose too. Clever little turd!

Even though my dog, Chizka was bothering them, my little sisters still managed to finish an hour pictorial session. Thank you so much my dearest for helping me out. Thank you so much for the support and for the lovely poses. The Three Chies is nothing without you both. You are my inspiration and the reason why I am still keeping this blog up. I love you BOTH so dearly!

The Three Chies United

This seldom happens, so whenever the three of us are together we really make the most out of it. Cheep and I were surprised that night when Cheem arrived at my unit. Both our brows were all knitted as to what on earth did Cheem think of visiting. Much more when she said she wanted to stay for a night. It's not like her.

So we went out that night. We went to this new bar called "Sight and Sound" located by the boulevard. We did enjoy but my sisters didn't drink alcohol. That's how they were when I am around and...until now scared I would beat them up. So we only had a glass of soft drink for each then we left. Since the barbercue huts were just few walks away from that bar, we thought of stopping by for a late dinner/snack. While having some barbecue, we talked and laughed just like the old times. Then we did some catching-up-with each other talk. It's where we enjoyed a lot right at that barbecue place. We stayed there for about two hours then we decided to go home. We took few sticks of pork barbecue too for my dog.

At the age of 24, I am trying to fit in my younger sisters' world to bond with them and understand them. It is not hard. Easy, actually for I've been there at their age. I am just glad that my sisters are still as respectful to me as they were. I love them so much!

Pink Saturday: Cheem in Pink

My younger sister, Cheem paid me a surprise visit yesterday night. It was a surprise for I didn't expect she would visit. I didn't even know she arrived. She was just at our parent's for 2 days after she arrived from Zamboanga. Well, we didn't know she went there as we do not know most of her whereabouts. She comes and goes, that's how she is yet we still love her and miss her everytime she strolls away.
She looks better than the last time I saw her, which was on New Year.I like it that she gained a little weight and that her hair is a bit longer.

Look a that hair. It is newly done, newly colored. I am really happy she didn't cut it short again. She was the first one who broke the three Chies' promise which is not to cut our hair short.

She looks great, isn't she? She is actually the loveliest among the three Chies. Darn, I missed her, we missed her rather. We had a fun bonding that night. It's a good thing Cheep stayed at my house that night or else she missed the three Chies' bonding.

Save On Paul Mitchell Flat Iron

Owning a personal flat iron can save us, women, who have straight hair from going to a salon. Straight hair sometimes does not stay perfectly straight. It's when a flat iron can do its purpose into turning our hair perfectly straight. Talking about saving, Paul Mitchell flat iron is a better deal which saves you all the time, money and energy spent from a salon service. Paul Mitchell flat iron is one of the best flat iron you can find, well expensive too but a one-way purchase of it would better save you money than getting a salon service everyday.

Girls Talk: The Stupidest Move For Love

I do have my share of stupidity when it comes to love. Among those stupid moves I did, I got two that I think are stupidest. Let me enumerate.

The first stupidest move I did for love I think was sending a love letter. I was fourth year high school student then when I fell so deeply to one of my classmates. I didn't know if that was really love I felt. All I knew is that I kept thinking of him and that I cried everytime I saw him with our other female classmates. I am not the type who flirt or who obviously show my feelings. I just got no nerve to do that. I wanted so much to tell him I felt something for him but I want it privately. So what I did was sent him a love letter. I called him "my Bobby Andrew (my favorite actor back then)". So I wrote in the letter...To: Bobby Andrew and then blah blah with a closing - your secret admirer. I found it stupid because until now he doesn't know who his secret admirer was.

The second stupidest move I did was with hubby. Three days after we personally met he took me to Boracay. It was my first time there. I was 19 then. While at Bora, we already had these little fights over our exes. I cleared up with my ex already so the problem was him. I even read a text message on his phone from his ex-gf saying she'll be arriving to Bora a day after (he erased the sent messages so I got no clue of his reply). Reading that text message from his ex, I already had an idea that he's still had a thing towards her. Even I knew that there's a problem between us, I swallowed my pride and pretended we were ok. Well, it was stupid of me right? I loved him. I was more stupid when I left, leaving them two together when the right thing I should have done was to fight for us, for our love.

Locate A Nearest Herbalife Distributor

To those who are fond of shopping online, I am pretty sure you’ll agree that it is a lot more convenient to do online shopping. With this trend in shopping, many local businesses started showing off their products and services online. Even large and small product distributors started creating sites to gain a wider viewer and costumer. Just a while ago, I came across The Herbal Nutrition Network, a large directory of independent health and wellness product distributors that offers Herbalife distributor services. It offers services such as retail website to independent distributors from here and from International countries. So, if you are an independent distributor of Herbalife products, The Herbal Nutrition Network can help you gain exposure online. And if you are a buyer, you can locate a nearest independent distributor in your area.

Wednesday Wickedness: Charlie Sheen

Today we picked Charlie Sheen. Here's Wednesday Wickedness!
Hi and welcome to Wednesday Wickedness! We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. But our little "twist" is that each week we will pick a famous person and pick ten of their quotes. Each of our questions will be based on the quotes. Got it? Great! Let's begin this week's meme!

1. As kids we're not taught how to deal with success; we're taught how to deal with failure. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. If at first you succeed, then what?
What is something in which that you did not expect to succeed, but ultimately you were successful? A wish to live in my own house, I guess.

2. Dad kept us out of school, but school comes and goes. Family is forever.
What do you think about home schooling? I never tried but I guess, homeschooling is teaching a child how to be lazy for he/she has to wait for school instead of he/she should walk to/go school.

3. I just didn't believe I was like everybody else. I thought I was unique.
What makes you unique? The face, I have no twin.

4. I just don't want to live like I used to. And at some point, I'm going to put a gag order on myself in terms of talking about the past. I've got to slam the door and deal with the present and the future.
When you meet someone, how much of your past do you reveal? It depends on who I am meeting.

5. I saw 28 Days. I don't remember rehab being like a day camp or being that funny. Rehab is a dumping ground. It's a big landfill.
Has rehab helped either you or a member of your family? No.

6. I still don't have all the answers. I'm more interested in what I can do next than what I did last.
Do you dwell on your past? Yes, at some point.

7. I think what drove me insane for a long time is feeling like I hadn't earned most of what I achieved because it came so fast.
Have you ever profited from something that at the time you felt that you did not earn? Yes.

8. I've got volumes on how not to behave. I've got more information now than a guy should have at my age.
Have you ever behaved in a way that you should not have? Yes, when I am mad I misbehave regardless of who's around.

9. The paramedic called the press and sold me like a loaf of bread. This was news, and he wanted to be the one to report it.
Have you ever been in an ambulance? If not, have you ever been present when an ambulance was used? Yes, it was when my brother broke his leg due to biking. He got into accident, which was his fault.

10. Uncertainty is a sign of humility, and humility is just the ability or the willingness to learn.
Is there any uncertainty in your life at the present time? In the past? Yes, I am uncertain of going to the US to join my husband.

Featured Wardorbe: Cheep in Red and White

It's time for my "featured wardrobe", a personal meme having only me as a player. I have no rival here. Lol! Today I am featuring my sister's get-up during the Sinulog in Manukan. She was wearing a white short, a red tube top with a loose cowgirl blazer over it that mama got her on Christmas. She asked me to take a picture of her before she left for Manukan.

Biphosphonate Side Effects

We get to play experts sometimes with our health. This is linked to irresponsibility by buying over-the-counter drugs or medicines not thinking of the bad effects it can give to our body, to our health. I admit I do it sometimes to get a quick medication and I am sure some of you too. Although we know it is not safe, we still go for it. Well, all medicine for sure has side effects. What drug that you know of has no side effects? Even prescribed drugs are not safe.
One of the most dangerous prescribed drugs known lately is Fosamax. Have you ever heard of Fosamax? Fosamax is a drug that belongs to a class of bisphosphonate, a class of drug that slows down the loss of bone. In other words, it is used to protect bone mass or density. This drug is usually prescribed to and taken by post-menopausal women as this drug treats osteoporosis. This as well prescribed to cancer patients sometimes to prevent major bone-loss because of the cancer treatments and given intravenously during chemotherapy. This drug sounds very helpful but lately there are risks and side effects reported about this drug, which leads the company who marketed this drug to facing fosamax lawsuit.

Cheep's P80.00 Dress

Here's Cheep's 80.00 pesos cocktail dress, which she bought from a thrift store.

Finally got this dress posted in this blog. Cheep boasted me this dress which she just bought from a thrift store. It is just a simple tube dress with two uses. You can wear it either as a long skirt or a dress. When worn as a dress, just wear a belt or simply have a stylish cloth tied on the waist, which my sister did. It's just simple but lovely. Just use your imagination to beautify when wearing the dress and there you have a nice cocktail dress in an instant and at a low price.
