Birthday/Christmas Gift

It is really not nice to be born on December because your birthday gift can also be your Christmas gift. This year, I received 1 gift only for my birthday and Christmas. Well, it's all good. At least I have one. Lol. Anyway, hubby let me choose for my birthday gift/Christmas gift. He gave me two options: (1) Facial and Hair treatment and (2) My Choice.  I chose second because I was thinking hair and facial would be a lot expensive since my hair is very long down my waist. I was imagining 3-4,000 pesos for my hair plus the facial cost at the cheapest salon here. Well, I chose the right option for I only spent 499.99 pesos for this new shoes of mine. It's a Miss shoes by Carla Berotti. It is very comfortable to the feet and it is very beautiful.  From choosing the second option, i was able to buy presents for my family (including hubby), the kids and for my godchildren in my hometown.

Gaining Weight

If not for the pictures I uploaded yesterday with my siblings and friends, I didn't realize how fat I am right now.  My family and hubby didn't say anything about me gaining weight. My husband kept telling me I am still in good shape and so he keeps buying me cheesecake and other sweets which I can't resist. Maybe because he doesn't want me to be sexy afraid I'll hook men's eyes which he says I always do. Looking at the pictures yesterday taken at the new bar in my home town and at our batch hangout, I did see some extra fats in me especially on my arms and butt area. Plus I started to have some cheeks.

Now, I feel so sad about it. Doing sit-ups and some exercises everyday surely won't help to think I am too lazy to do it. Then there are these yummy foods I couldn't resist. I came to think of considering liposuction. Liposuction would be a great help especially if I want to get rid of these extra fats in me real fast. I still have to think about it though. I might be having problem with the price and the guts to undergo this kind of surgery.

4Chies' Videoke Moment w/ a Stolen Kid

I had so much fun singing on videoke with my siblings yesterday.  It was the 4Chies'(Chie, Chem, Cheep and our only brother, Butchie) singing moment. We went this new restobar in town.  It was cool because there were only few costumers there and so we sang up to our might and up to how many songs we wanted to sing.  We only ordered coke and colt 45 for Butch. We were there for 2 hours.

I stole this baby girl, a daughter of one of our boarders.  I saw her singing and dancing in front our television because my brother played a music for her to dance and sing and so I took her with us.

P.S. Listen to some of Chem's voice on "Love Can't Lie" at Chie's Music Box.

The Three Chies' Recent Bonding

We were having a 2-day/1-night bonding because of Cheep's school projects. It's very unusual because these past weeks we very seldom catch Chem in the house because she comes and she goes. So when we finally caught her, Cheep asked her to help us with the school projects. Cheep needs her in bookbinding, Chem is very good in it.

They ignored the camera, they must be very busy.

Pasting on the final touches.

Here is your author, the big sister.

During our 3chies bonding, I was used as the researcher and the photographer while hubby was the buyer of our snacks.

Girls Talk: Birth Talk

I know I am very, as in very late in posting Girls Talk topic today but since Mr. Linky is still open why not. I don't want to miss every single topic and besides, this week's topic is very important because it is all about "birth talk".

I was born on a cold day of December back in 1986 on the 22nd. My mama said, there was nothing special with my birthday except that my father didn't think of me as his because I am the first baby.  There was a saying that a first baby is a result of the mother's sleeping over with friends and coming home late but hey, I got his ears. That's what the people noticed as soon as I got out from my mother's womb.

I was delivered through natural delivery just in our house with the help of a midwife who happened to be my parent's neighbors back then. I came out a very small baby but I cried so loud, as in loud.

Cheep and her Little Story

Cheep loves so much to be on stage whether it is dancing, acting or ramp walking.  She always like it to be on stage performing.  Even when she was young. She made us so proud of her although our parents said that Cheep, like Chem was just an accident. Lol. Really. My mother never thought of conceiving Cheep. They even attempted to abort her because my Papa (dad) disagreed my mother's pregnancy with her. He didn't want the child. He even accused Ma(mom) being pregnant with other guy.  Thank God, Cheep hold on tight inside my mother's womb. After 3 attempts, they gave up of getting rid of her. She is really for us. When she came out on December 27, 1993 at dawn she became my dad's favorite.  Our Papa's baby girl - Rechiel Cheep.

Cheep's dance costumes (last year and this year)

The first photo on the upper left side was for their folk dance. The lower left was her Korean dance costume.
The yellow costume on the right side is her favorite, it's her Tahitian Dance costume.

This year's folk dance and interpretative dance costumes.

Cheep started performing on stage at 4 years old. She became Ms. Little Christmas in the whole Wangge Street on 1997 bagging "Best in Talent Award". She acted as a pregnant woman but left behind by her boyfriend for other woman on her talent. My mother was one of the sponsors of it and was cheep's trainer. Her second stage performance was on her graduation day in Day Care. She was 6 years old then and became Ms. Daycare and was the class Valedictorian.

When she started Grade school, that was when her serious stage performances started. I remember when she was in Grade 1. She walked on the ramp having fever but she still managed to walk and pose with a smile on her lips. She was so darn cute. I remember she whined on me on back stage "te, it hurt my lips if I always smile". Then I told her, "ok, if you are facing the audience, you have to smile but if your back is on the audience then don't smile". She was the candidate for the school's yearly fashion and beauty contest since Grade 1 to Grade 3. Although she was not winning the big prizes no more against the elder candidates, in our hearts she is a winner, our Little Miss Lovely and Bubbly Cheep.

When she was in Grade 4, my mama decided not to let Cheep join any beauty contests no more.  There was one time, Cheep's teachers went to our house just to convince mom.  She refused because she felt sad when Cheep got disappointed. Even at her young age, she already know what is winning and what is losing because she knew, when she wins she have trophies.  It was really cute when she was saying "ma, i did not win" with a sad face. Mom decided to transfer Cheep to other elementary school to get away from that. Still, mom still get more convincing from the teachers. She refused but not until Cheep reached Grade 6. Thinking it was her last year in grade school, so why not. It was 50% beauty and 50% money contest. We lost on the money. Cheep ended up the 5th runner-up.

Now she is 15 years old and currently a 4th year High school student. Last September this year, I received a text message from Cheep saying "Te, is it ok for you if I am chosen as a candidate for Ms. Sports for our year this intrams?". So, I was like, not again and replied ask that to mama. But don't get me wrong, I was so proud of her when I received that message because although she is not a perfect beauty to some people at least somebody got interested of her and of what she can do. I was so excited about it but I was sad when she texted me back saying mama said "NO".
